New Daylight Saving Time (DST) Requirements

NexLight is committed to providing ongoing service and update to our customers. In order to support the compliance with the new Daylight Saving Time (DST) requirements that are mandated by the recent US Energy Policy Act of 2005 we offer the following options to reprogram NexLight components. NexLight Time Clock WRT-3540K There is a firmware update available that will allow the start and end date for daylight savings time to be user settable. To update the firmware in your clock there are the following options.

Option 1 Ship the clock to NexLight and we will update the firmware without charge. Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the clocks owner. Please contact NexLight 218-828-3700 to schedule to update. Note: The connections to the time clock are all low voltage connections. All programming information will be retained in the clock during this process and will not need to be re-entered at re-installation. The real time is the only thing that may need to be reset after reinstallation.

Option 2 The clocks firmware maybe updated in the field. Please contact your local NexLight representative for a quote. Lighting Supervisor III The initialization file of Lighting Supervisor III must be edited to adjust the change to start/stop date for daylight savings time. To do this refer to the letter from Elemco that is posted on the NexLight website and reboot your computer.
