The U.S. Is About To Start Saving More Energy

Baxter, Minnesota (March 26, 2010) - The U.S. Government, through the Small Business Administration (S.B.A) has awarded NexLight Lighting Control Systems with the qualification for HUB Zone Contract Eligibility.

"This is a great step forward for the U.S. Government to invest in long-term energy efficiency in their facilities," said Loren Beilke, president of NexLight Lighting Control Systems. "The potential energy savings could start to look like an annuity, paying healthy dividends on a national level for decades."

NexLight is a manufacturer of the worlds most reliable lighting control systems for commercial and industrial applications. The system allows building occupants flexible control of their lighting, while continuously working to eliminate wasted energy in unused areas and after hours. As of April 2010 new and existing Government buildings are going to have access to NexLight's green, energy efficiency control system that is designed to dramatically reduce energy consumption for the life of the building.

NexLight is now eligible to receive HUB Zone contracting opportunities, and will be included in the listing of qualified HUB Zone small businesses found on the web at http://www.sba.gov/hubzone. Although NexLight was approved under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 335314, this does not prevent NexLight from being awarded contracts under other NAICS Codes, as long as the firm is qualified to perform.

NexLight has an extensive background in government, community, and public space project applications. This new Hub Zone contract eligibility is the bridge to connect the worlds most reliable lighting control solutions with upcoming government retrofit and new construction projects around the United States.
