Press Release: PerfectSense Products Announcement

3/8/2013

Minneapolis, MN, March 8, 2013  /24-7PressRelease/ -- NexLight, the world's leading provider of extreme reliability, relay panel based lighting control systems, announces the release of the all new PerfectSense Intelligent Building Occupancy Sensor Product line.

NexLight's newest product line, the PerfectSense Intelligent Building Occupancy Sensor are now available to every building designer, engineer, electrical contractor, and facility manager anywhere in North America. Specifically designed to meet the demands of Title 24 and ASHRAE 90.1 2010, these dual-technology sensors provides energy savings and code compliance, for commercial and industrial building markets.

PerfectSense occupancy sensors uses state-of-the-art technology with features like integrated daylight sensors, walk-through mode, and SmartSenseTM auto adapting technology: that continuously analyzes surrounding conditions and automatically adapts to meet those changing conditions. This mode allows for the sensor to continuously adjust and optimize its performance.

NexLight VP of Sales Adam Beson elatedly says, "NexLight is excited about the release of the PerfectSense Product Line" Proud of their latest innovation, Beson adds, "We added superior PIR and Ultrasonic sensitivity and on-board logic to further reduce the potential for false triggers (a common complaint with other sensors). We knew there was a place in the market for PerfectSense, many customers were unhappy with the performance of other sensor products in the market and are looking for something more. NexLight spent the last two-years developing a product line that would deliver the results that building occupants demand. Most importantly these products are designed to fit the needs of occupants, and learn the patterns of occupancy over time. Our goal is to create new product options and strive to meet our clients' requests and requirements."

The most popular PS-DTC24 model is a ceiling mounted 24V (low voltage) sensor providing 1000 sq. ft. detection area, utilizing both PIR and Ultrasonic detection technologies. Used with a power pack (PS-PP20), a single sensor or multiple sensors can be used to expand detection areas. All PerfectSense models feature daylight sensors, when enabled and natural light levels exceed the selected LUX level, the sensor inhibits the lights from turning on. Simplifying the design and installation process further; when customers only want to use a single technology, this sensor may be configured in seconds as PIR or Ultrasonic only.

Additional models available later in the year include; with additional relays to connect to local VAV boxes or BMS systems, extra wide detection areas, and high bay models more commonly used for the industrial market.
